Older homes have older waste systems. It was only in the 1970s that Australian standards were established for how far the floor waste pipe should be placed from the wall. That means that if your home is more than 50 years old, new toilet designs might not align like they should.

But there is a type of toilet that can fit where others can’t: adjustable link suites.

What is an adjustable link toilet suite?

In an adjustable link toilet suite, the link between the pan and cistern can be adjusted to accommodate different set-out distances.

Rather than moving the plumbing – which can be an expensive and time-consuming process, and in some cases not an option at all – an adjustable link suite lets you dial in the exact pan-to-wall distance you need, allowing you to place a modern toilet in the most heritage of homes without needing to pull up pipework.

Standard vs comfort height: The standard pan height (360-400mm to the top of the seat) suits most users and bathrooms, but comfort height (400-450mm) might be worth considering for taller households or anyone with mobility limitations who may find it difficult to get on and off a standard seat.

Seat features: Soft-close seats are now the standard on quality suites, and worth insisting on to reduce clattering the lid during late night trips to the loo. Quick-release seats that fully detach from the pan for cleaning are worth looking for, particularly for families with young kids.

Can I collect my order?

Absolutely! Select 'pickup' during checkout. All collections are from our store in Underwood Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.45pm.

We are unable to accommodate weekend pickups as our warehouse is closed.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery or pickup, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in saleable condition.

We are unable to accept returns for installed (or attempted install), incl modified items.

Are there any products I cannot return?

The following items are not eligible for returns:

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within 5 business days of order placement. However the following products can only be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement:

- Special Order items
