Shipping Information
At Bathroom Space, our goal is to ensure the prompt, reliable, and secure delivery of your orders. Delivery charges are determined by the product category and destination. In certain cases, split deliveries can be arranged for an additional fee.
Lead Times (Estimates only)
- Our standard lead times are 1-2 weeks pending stock availability. Generally products from suppliers with stock available locally in South East Qld will arrive to us quicker than that. For products that need to be transferred from interstate, it will be more in line with the standard advertised lead time.
- Lead times are estimates only. We always do our best to get everything to you on time, however sometimes there can be additional delays outside our control. We recommend getting in touch with us prior to placing an order if you have a deadline to work with.
- If all the items on a customers order are physically in stock at Bathroom Space warehouse, our general processing time is 2-3 business days.
- Due to ever growing product selection from our premium suppliers, on a lot of occasions, products need to be ordered in. We will not ship your order or advise of pickup until the entire order is ready. If you are needing any products sooner than others, please contact us.
- Special Order products such as made to order vanities, mirrors and basins etc are subject to their own lead times depending on the supplier.
- In the rare instance that a product cannot be supplied, Bathroom Space will notify the customer as soon a practical. Generally, the product can be put on back-order with the Supplier or Bathroom Space will endeavour to find suitable in-stock alternative. If suitable alternative cannot be arranged or agreed upon, Bathroom Space will provide the customer with a refund or store credit for that item(s) only, subject to our returns and exchanges policy.
Local Delivery (South East Queensland)
- Bathroom Space provides a personalized local delivery service for customers within a specific radius of our Underwood QLD 4119 store. If you are eligible for this service, it will be offered during checkout and in-store.
- All local deliveries are made by one person only, and items are delivered to the front of the house/unit only. If requested by the customer, the driver will call ahead of time.
- Exact delivery times cannot be provided; however, Bathroom Space will coordinate a preferred day and a 4 hour delivery window for local deliveries, subject to change with notice.
Freight (Large items) & Courier (Small items)
- Bathroom Space offers delivery of orders to your door through trusted shipping partners with insurance coverage.
- For smaller items, we typically use premium Courier services, although this may vary based on location and network availability. The courier cannot call ahead.
- For larger items, orders are palletised and delivered via specialised road freight to the selected address, with tracking details provided. The freight carrier does not schedule delivery days in advance, and customers must be present to sign for the delivery. The freight carrier cannot call ahead.
Pickup from Underwood QLD 4119
- Bathroom Space allows pickup from our store at Unit C / 5 - 15 Lapis Street, Underwood QLD 4119.
- Pickup hours are limited to weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:45 pm. Pickups are not possible on weekends and public holidays, no exceptions.
- Customers will be notified via email and/or phone call when their order is ready for collection, and pickup must occur within two calendar weeks unless otherwise agreed.
- To expedite pickup for bulky items or multiple smaller products, we request at least 1 business days notice of your intended pickup date.
General Shipping Terms
- Full payment for orders is required before pickup or delivery.
- The products become the property of the Customer once delivered to their premises, OR, once picked up by the Customer, his/her representative or the shipping carrier.
- On delivery or pickup, the customer must notify Bathroom Space of a shortage or damage within two business (2) days, either by emailing us or phoning our showroom.
- Bathroom Space cannot be held responsible for any loss caused by delays to your contractors. All products should be received and thoroughly checked by the customer before scheduling any trades. We might not be able to replace products last minute should we not have stock available at the time. The usual lead times & charges will generally apply, but we will always do our best to solve asap.
- Upon the signing of the delivery docket, unless the contrary is noted in that docket, the products shall be deemed to have been delivered in good order and condition to the extent permitted by law. Bathroom Space also take photographic evidence of what we ship to you.
- If customers opt not to authorize the shipping carrier to leave packages in a secure location, or if such a place isn't available, it becomes their responsibility to ensure they're present to receive their shipments or to arrange suitable alternative delivery arrangements. Customers will bear the responsibility for any additional expenses arising from re-deliveries or adjustments required after the initial dispatch of their orders.
